The supportive, encouraging nature of it at times.

The ridiculously funny posts.

The chance to read other opinions, views on the world - it's fascinating for people watching.

It's filled with an array of different characters from all walks of life and it's interesting to read people's ideas, views and opinions.

It can also be entertaining, makes me smile, occasionally makes me roll my eyes, and there is a good selection of people for eye candy.

The many interesting, intelligent and funny people sharing their thoughts in an open and generous spirit.

The group dynamic which ebbs and flows in all sorts of intriguing ways.

You get to show off in front of some hot women, it’s the equivalent of doing wheelies on your BMX, some times you come off, other times you totally nail it and they be like, ‘wow who was that?’ ‘That’s City Jeans!’ ‘Wow, I thought he’d at least have a Raleigh Grifter!’

"Having the courage to say im not coping with life

I did see that but because I don't have any personal experience, didn't feel it was necessary to contribute.

However. It's so true that so many or us struggle with one thing or another, and it's great that you felt like you had this as an outlet to talk about it.

This is why the forums are (mostly) great.

I have only started exploring here in the past 24 hours thanks to a nudge from a friend here, but have been enjoying it greatly. Interesting people, funny, open, and there's a community behind it. Such a contrast to the more clinical one-on-one messaging in private.

Here are some of the reasons why I've always loved the forums :

Some post's are hilarious and full of quick witted people!! Great humour

Other posts are very informative, every day's a school day right?

I've seen genuine compassion, care and support for people who are not having the best of times.

And last but not least, you get to spot some eye candy that you otherwise wouldn't of come across

I think everyone who posts on the forums adds something. There are some right funny folk on here, some passionate artistic folk, argumentative types, those who are quick to offer a kind word or some advice (wanted or otherwise). There are those who make you question things you thought you held an opinion on, those who keep you informed about world wide events, those who need support.

It’s like people watching in a train station. You see snippets of people, just enough of them before they start getting on your tits and then they’re off. You may cross paths again, or not, you may not like some of them, but they make the place what it is. And they’re from all over the World.

I’ve been on a few forums and this is the one where I have stayed the longest. I like it here.

Yes sometimes folk are unkind, short, or sharp with their words (as we can all be, given a bad day), but on the whole, the good people outweigh the bad.

And of course, there’s the cock avatars. A pervers delight

It’s lovely to hear how much this place and the people here make a positive impact on others.

In the strangest way, on a medium that is supposed to represent me as one dimensional, I am a more rounded person here than offline.

I am more garrulous and involved here. Offline, I am a wallflower. I am ‘that’ chap who tries to avoid eye contact lest someone comes to chat with me and when they do, my mind works feverishly to concoct an end to the conversation whilst simultaneously holding it.

Here, I am faceless yet known beyond being my son’s dad. I flirt as I would NEVER do offline and it’s all harmless fun, simply a way to say hello to a friend I’ve never met and barely spoken to.

I feel more a person here than I do offline.

Having said that, it’s time for a little break. Keep enjoying the Forum. Toodelu, chin chin, pip pip and see you in a bit.

I enjoy our photo challenges of course.. embracing others efforts and pushing myself to take more photos/get out there and be happy with who I am.
