This has been discussed before. If it had the numbers to make it worthwhile. If you had some interested in a poly relationship, as opposed to swinging, I guess it could work. It would no doubt be open to abuse.

Why would a swinger site try and get people to form new relationships , it is actually a terrible business strategy. Lots of new couples would want to settle into a relationship together before becoming a swinging couple and jumping straight into the swing lifestyle.

So from a revenue perspective Why would Fab want to pair off their best revenue spinner, ie single women. Single women attract lots of single guys , if Fab starts pairing them off they will most certainly lose money . Also these new couples may dump their single profiles and set up a couple profile instead, revenue halved again.

Last and by no means least , as already said it won't work from the abuse angle. People will just use it as another angle to make them look good to a potential play mate. Ooh I'll meet him/her as they are also looking for a relationship. Erm naw there just looking for a quick legover and wave bye-bye as they run out the door after fooling you into thinking there looking for an LTR.

Ps for those looking for a genuine relationship, tinder and pof have loads of people from here on those sites too. Just use those sites as your dating section, the results will mostly be the same as a Fab dating section. Full of chancers.

lol its a fair point , but i think single women trying to date already have their guard up to that kinda bs from guys so it would be the same here

i just think if you want a relationship with someone open minded to this kind of lifestyle in the future then its probably easier here than on a conventional dating site , but people can get quite a bit of grief for trying to date on the normal parts of the fab

all they would need to do would be make the dating section only open to only site supporters and there you go its financially beneficial

Point taken that not everyone pays to use the site but where your financial benefit part fails is forcing people that also want to date to pay for that part of the site would simply mean they wouldn't use that facility as they could simply put that hope or goal of an LTR in their bio of a normal profile . Which most do already .

Also if it was beneficial to Fab they would have done it by now as there has been many threads of this nature. Just my thoughts.

there are loads of suggestions that don’t get picked up , like for example a proper app instead of this html style site from the early 00’s , i think there is either no appetite to invest in the site or just not much money to be made from it in general so they don’t bother

The problem is apps are redonkulosly expensive to develop (properly) and the issues with getting them through the varying app stores are many (especially apple with its clean cut puritan ways).

Then the cut they take from you with regards to any in app purchases... For a niche market it makes it unviable financially.
