Using Travel Lodge for fun

Wolverhampton/Perton.

Has anyone got experience of using a Travel Lodge, or similar, room for fun in an afternoon?

Do they allow 'visitors' so I can make up a three/foursome?

Locally mine only charge £24 a night for a room for two.

You can book a family room with 2 double beds.

No questions asked and an unsoggy bed if only one is staying over.

No they're clearly quite used to more than 2 adults sharing a room.

Tnis was pre Covid but I doubt it's changed.

Thanks Inaswingdress, It will be after May 17th and probably just for two of us. But it's useful to know it is OK.

I used travel lodge when I worked and did have a guy join me late at night. There hardly ever seemed to be anyone around most of the time.

Most hotels do this but its not a given as it depends on availability.

I used to work in Hotels - a bit more up market than Travel Lodge

The staff don't care - they only care that you don't wreck the room, disturb other guests and most importantly pay the bill.

I think you might need to give reasons for visiting the area and and what your doing, that goes for everyone that goes in there with you. Just be honest you might get them to join in

Oh I had a part time job in a top London hotel when I was a student. I started as a 'room maid'. The tips certainly weren't in proportion to the mess left by some. Still, looking quite a few years younger than my 19 years there were lots of perks. ??

Thanks for the suggestion.

But I just downloaded it and found too few, and only expensive, hotels listed. Unsuitable for use in West Midlands region.

I looked at similar apps and like this one they are aimed at the USA; ie., all prices are shown in US$ unless you select £ or €.

Look on their website, it says you have to provide details for test and trace, none of their bars are open at the moment.

May 17th things change, but still social distancing.

So not as easy/discreet as it used to be.
