Good morning all genuine question does another person passionately kissing your partner make you have feelings of jealousy more so than actually having sex with them

Surely swingers should have no feelings of jealousy at all? For those that do it may not end well.

There’s different types of swinging. Some swingers will only allow the woman to play, some only the man, some both. Some swingers are actually exhibitionists and won’t play with others but will allow others to watch.

Maybe you need to cut the kissing out ... should have the opposite effect

No, we don't kiss our fab meets passionately. Neither of us feels jealous over sex though.

What would make me feel jealous would be my partner being emotionally intimate with another person behind my back

Not at all. Seeing my husband kiss another woman is a huge turn on for me. We wouldn't be swinging if either of us had jealousy issues.

None of us are infallible. It's ok to have wobbles as long as overall swinging is what you both want.

I agree with this. You never know how you're going to feel in certain situations. The key is to accept that it's ok and to talk about it

For us it is a special part of it all. Mrs is a very tactile and passionate woman, kissing is part of sex for us. As long as it is ok with all parties, not a deal breaker though.

I still get jealous.

It’s a feeling I very much enjoy.

If I stopped caring about her then we might as well just go out separate ways in my opinion.

Those feelings are all part of the experiences for me and I don’t think I’ll ever become desensitised towards them.

Whether it’s sex, kissing, a longing stare over a restaurant table or even just flirty banter at the bar I still get that pang of jealousy.

Then I override it because I know perfectly well that she’s watching me also and that her feelings are exactly the same.

Kissing is felt by some people to be more intimate than fucking.

Jealousy may be the aim in a cuck situation.

No love seeing the wife kissing touching caressing etc no jealousy at all in fact I find it more exciting than watching her actually having sex . The build up is the most exciting bit

Spectacular, when she calls out his name or asks me to call her by the other woman’s.

Kink isn’t a set format.

It’s not one size fits all.

Jealousy is a feeling I’d never want to lose.

somewhere, someplace

With my ex yes there was a touch of jealousy, why wouldn't there be if there wasn't then there's no emotion towards them, but on the whole I actually used to find it a turn on to see him with another woman and the same for him with me and another woman (he wouldn't let us have another male)

There's a crucial difference between jealousy and possessiveness. Jealousy is I think a natural response when you care about and desire someone but possessiveness is an expression of power and control. One should be possible without the other.

Newry Down

Communication is key to resolving issues, such as kissing, as soon as the decision to swing with another couple is made.

If a trusting relationship is established then the barrier of kissing may be the first step can be addressed, then bareback, DP or DVP, strapons, and so on.

It's a matter of discussing and agreeing boundaries.

That's my experience.

Manchester (he/him)

Jealousy takes many forms.

Ideally I’d say that jealousy shouldn’t be a part of swinging but it’s a human emotion. Usually it’s based in fears of being replaced or losing something that is valuable to you, which requires rationalisation and might point to some work being done in the relationship (unless jealousy is the end goal).

I’d love to see a situation where negative emotions don’t play a part in swinging. Being jealous is normal, most people get pangs of it but acting on that jealousy isn’t (or shouldn’t) be part of swinging.

If you’re feeling jealous of your partners interactions, then I’d say that some communication needs to happen

Delightful Bliss

I can see how it would affect many as kissing is extremely intimate, where as sex is seen more as "a hole is a goal pastime"

Personally I don't feel jealousy, I realised compersion with my feelings a long time ago with my first ever poly relationship at 18
