Showing my sensitive side now, there’s a fair few movies out there that will have me welling up at some point, most john hughes productions for example, but the one that has the biggest effect on me is Gladiator, i've watched it so many times now and it still has me in tears, truly an amazing movie from start to finish, but that ending though.

I only recall crying at Schindlers list seeing the last scene... putting stones on the graves. Because that was actually real and poignant.

YES!! Was watching it with my little son at the time. Talk about not daring to blink and hoping the air would dry my eyeballs out a little....!!! Hurt my throat holding that lump down as well.

The Book of Henry with Naomi Watts.

The scene where Henry (who is a child) is in Hospital close to dying and his little brother is with him.

That made my heart ache. I had to switch the film off. Never watched it again.

I tend to avoid sad movies. It's an old defense mechanism. Nothing with too much emotion just in case I couldn't keep the stopper in.

Rogue One, every time, even after seeing it loads of times and knowing what happens. Avengers Infinity War and Endgame. In the cinema for Infinity War, after The Snap, it went quiet and the only sound that could be heard was me desperately trying to suppress my sobs - most embarrassing.

I’m not sure if I should or shouldn’t recommend Chappie then. I don’t think I was blubbering but seeing how something innocent is exploited I just wanted to give him a cwtch.

Never Ending Story - swamp of sorrows.

Anything that involves animals to pull at your heart strings.

People, I barely even register an emotion, but if it involves a pet or another animal, my empathy and compassion will likely be at an all time high.

There may be some exceptions that have caught me off guard, usually if I'm feeling vulnerable to begin with. But nothing that comes to mind.

Its not just films though, I watched an interview on the LadBible YT channel with an ex-army sniper. Talking about how looking at his dog stopped him from committing suicide. He did a follow up interview with his dog and spoke about her living forever because he didnt want to think about her death, it nearly broke me

Not usually one to shed a tear over a movie, but I remember when my son was born I became a walking sprinkler! Something about the hormones that flood your system when you pick your kid up for the first time makes you so emotional its hilarious

Even some adverts were enough to bring a tear welling up lol!!
