The kindness of strangers

It amazes me how kind some people on here actually are. Effectively we are all strangers and 99.9% of you formites ive never met but many of you now I consider friends though we havnt met and yesterday after having just the Shitest day possible the amount of kind words and messages I received from you guys was overwhelming. And even this morning people checking in to see if I'm OK. You guys are all amazing and I thank you from the bottom of my heart you all may be strangers but I see you all as such great friends and make the days far more bearable

Most people are generally good at heart but some have lost their way a little, getting into habits that keeps others distant. The forum and fab is a goldmine though, for people who are engaging and somehow our honesty and openness allows us to be very direct with kindness and support for others.

I first joined Fab around the same time as I lost my best mate

There were a couple of people here who made that situation a whole lot more bearable

I am still in touch with a couple of them away from the site and it'll be 10 years in August

There is more decency here than there is indecency

its great to see how many kind people there are on fab as with all walks of life there are those that arnt so nice but all in all fab has somw fantastic people

Hope the difficulties have eased up.

I have an elderly dad and that definitely brings us challenges.
