Stalls or Circle?

Not a euphemism... where do you prefer to sit in a theatre? Central stalls are always the most expensive, but you can't see the actors below the knees.. why are they suppose to be the best? Front of the Circle for me everytime.

Have you ever *sat* in stalls for a band? I remember having to sit in a balcony seat before for some gigs, but a mosh pit would be a tricky one if there are seats down below!

Agree.... front row upper circle is by far the best and leg room. Expensive though went to see les mis with the kids, 4 seats plus hotel and dinner over a grand

I have both booked so going to decide after I've been.

Depends on the theatre, in some the balcony is a long way back.

Yes, unfortunately most big venues are seated only now. For me being closer to the band in seated stalls beats the better view from the circle, and some places are relaxed about people standing or even going to the front.

I'm not too fussy with seats really though and depends on my budget. Taking my nephew to see everybody's talking about Jamie at some point (keeps getting rearranged) and think we're in the gods but it will still be amazing.

Rocky horror was the only time I wanted to be in the stalls as I the circle we say right in front of two very d*unk guys who were comparing who had the dirtiest cock.

Funnily enough I don't plan to see it again...

Stalls schmalls, central in the dress circle for me or central upper circle! Much prefer it. I like to have a nosy at the lighting and set from up there too

Always the circle. I have realised that in some theatres especially more modern ones, you can get the cheapest seats and still get a great view.

Wherever they shove the wheelchair people. Usually either right at the front so you get neck ache, behind a pillar or right at the back so you can't see
