Pork pie.

Not the cheap stuff though.

I want it in 15mm slices, crisp on the crust, consistent jelly surrounding a moist meaty middle.

Non of that Melton Mowbray shite!

I do love spring rolls! Though the best Indian starters are steamed wantons and you need to get those from a proper Chinese!

Have you seen those buffet boards thingys OP?

Basically one of those with all the cheeses and some nice french stick and dippy oils. And grapes! Black sable grapes.

Or goats cheese and red pepper mini rolls (kind of like sausage, minus the sausage).

Or mini halloumi fritters.

I love a good buffet! But a good one, not one with beige delights in. I do like those sorts but I bloat like a heffalump after.
