Word of the Week Challenge

I am sure it would be fun to have a word of the week challenge... picking a word and seeing just how many times you can use it on and off of here.

Not a common everyday word, but nothing too obscure either.

But in a sentence that makes some sort of sense? Otherwise there will just be random insertions into threads.

Oh yes... I was going to do a pun about slipping it in, but changed my mind.

If that's your word, use it. I'm only giving words out because when there were only three of us I thought it would be interesting to not know what words we had. Polo's game... and from an Olympic thread we now know she is the queen of all games.

I wouldn't go as far as saying the queen of all games.... just a former internastional sports person who represented GB. I think I may have mentioned that before.

Ok - finished my work so I can get on with this new game now...

I think we should trial this for a day - a week and I might expire.

I can't read all of the threads - I read a lot but even I have to do work every once in a while.

So, we will trust each other to post how many times we have used our words, citing the odd thread to prove it has been used. Don't forget to include examples of how you used it out there in the non Fab world.

If you can also guess what words other people have used all the better.

Prize....? I'll cogitate that one.

Good evening my fellow loquacious wordsmiths.

Please post your guess at the words people have been using by 10am tomorrow morning, if you have time.

Participants inserting words into threads on here and their life today are:

Polo - the instigator of this game

Femme - full of Olympic spirit she threw herself into the fray

nologo - no fuss, just asked how to play

Cutensassy - game to give it go

Diamondsmiles - giving her words away before even starting to play

adswellfit - keen to extend into etymology

_sm - too much time on her hands and obviously with no preparation for a wedding to contend with at all

Minxie - interested in Wombles so decided to play this game

and

me - random word generator

Don't give your word away yet - just state how many times you have used it on here and out there. Tomorrow we will update on proof of use!

You didn't ask me for a word. But, that doesn't stop you (or anyone else) trying to work out which words the participants are trying to get into posts and into their everyday conversation. Obviously, you only have posts to go by.

Apologies if my instructions have been unintelligible.
