The Killing, a Danish police series, just aired on BBC and is on Iplayer. A good alternative and very dramatic aspects and twists.

The American version of the Killing is good to. Used to be on Netflix but now on Disney +

I keep going to Orphan Black.

Let me tell you the opening scene to help you decide.

Girl walking along a train station, looks up and sees a woman unhappy. The woman looks at her and she looks the exact same as her!

Then the sad woman goes and jumps in front of a train. The first girl is shocked, obviously, but sees the dead girls handbag and steals her purse. And her identity

If you fancy something a bit different, try Deutschland 83 and it's follow-up Deutschland 86 which are available on Channel 4. They are German espionage series with subtitles. Both are excellent.

Deutschland 89 has apparently been made and we're hoping they become available here.
