How do you, personally, feel when that happens? Happy, grateful, relieved?

Most of my closest friends have come from being wary to start with.

The ones where there's instant clicks are normally from meeting in person at parties or whatnot

not really been around long enough to have that level of friendship I don't think, but certainly a couple of people I've been chatting to who have made my life that bit richer and I can see them becoming true mates for the long term

I’ve met lots of incredible people over the years here and have a few good friends as a result. I also thought I’d met someone who was perfect in every way - although she turned out to be far from it.

I do however have one special friend who knows me inside and out and without whom I honestly don’t know how I would have got through these last few months. I can’t really quantify what her support, advice (even though I generally don’t follow it) and love means to me but she knows how appreciative I am and that I’ll always be there for her too.

Fab has a funny way of creating friendships out of the most bizarre of beginnings. The longer I’m here, the more I place a greater value on the friends I have than any random sexual conquests.

I love when you feel like you’ve known someone for years already, things are so easy in their company.

Getting on well outside of the bedroom, chats, laughs etc, all makes for better sex in the end.
