But that Virgin ad with the lad in the wheelchair and the curly girl really warms my cockles.

Yeah I need to have a word with myself

I have definitely gone the same way

I cried watching a baby being born last week

I cried at weekend about a song and it's associations

I don't think it's a bad thing

I've spent too long being aloof and indifferent to emotion

It's a shame they didn't employ an actor who is actually a wheelchair user, but there we go.

I've always struggled to watch charity appeals that involve sick/dying children. I always see my own children's faces on whoever it is on the screen and I get the overwhelming urge to pick them up and never let them go. One is coming up for 19, so I'd struggle to pick him up

Cynical manipulation by ad men/women. I still like it though . It has failed in its intent though because I didn't know what it was advertising.

He is a wheelchair user. His name is Callum Russell and he received life changing injuries during a biking accident back in March 2018. He is now a para rower and actor. If you check out his social media it will confirm that

I'm also going soft in my old age. But that's a different thread for another day.

I accept the mistake, thanks! The initial search named him as an actor called Christopher Adams. The name of the real guy wasn't easy to find

Mr KC found out the right info and thanks Luna for highlighting
