Newcastle and Gateshead

okay... so before I wasn't even prepared to have a discussion on who should win Sports Personality of the year....

now... I think I have to... and that is all done to Mo...

So... who should win....

my 1/2/3 would still be Brad, mo and then either jess ennis or Laura Trott....

and lifetime achievement has to go to Ben Ainsley....

if you want a decent spread bet.... number of knighthood the queen gives out to olympians in the next honours list...

over/under at 4 and a half....

Mo Farah epitomises the ideal of the immigrant who arrived here as a child with nothing, unable to even speak English, and he has acheived his dreams. He has captured the immagination of the entire nation and I'm sure our households was exactly like millions of households up and down the country when he ran to glory in the 10,000m and then the 5,000m - we were shouting and cheering, almost willing him to find that extra bit of strength that says "hold on!" when his body was screaming to stop.

Definate Sports Personality of the Year for us.

Wiggins in the third round!

Knockout!

Upper cut with his D lock after a roundhouse with his bike pump!

Mo never stood a chance - if only he'd been an archer! Lol

Kidderminster+ surrounding areas.

1/st brad,2nd/mo,3rd ennis

brad wiggins for spoty as his achievements this season have been monumental to say the least.

been winning the stage races since paris-nice in march, took several others in prep for tour de france, won that 3 week race and then 7 days later competing in olympics to take 3rd consecutive gold..

its got to be brad, winning the tour alone is enough to eclipse what mo has done, but brad adding another gold.puts him top the tree.

brad also does stuff for charity, not sure what mo does

Bradley Wiggins. Even without the Olympic Gold he would've got my vote for the Tour de France alone.

2nd Mo

3rd Jess Ennis

although personally I'd put Chris Hoy above Jess.

I'm sure they'll all be happy for whoever wins it. They've all achieved everything they wanted to this year already. They're all winners

just think it might be the cycling vote leaning toward brad might rob sir chris of top three!.

" brad also does stuff for charity, not sure what mo does"

Mo has his own charity foundation.

Both he and brad are deserving of spoty title though

I would go with Mo as he has overcome Mo challenges in life and as a personality he wins hands down.

brad wiggins was robbed of the chance to win for the third time and defend his titles from 2004-2008 when his chosen discipline the individual pursuit was dropped from olympics!,he switched to road racing and finished 4th in tour de france, this year he came back and won the tour de france as well as several other french stage races in the build up to the tour,he started as pre race favourite and carried the weight and expectations of our country on his shoulders then came up with olympic gold 10 days later.

wiggins.

some of them climbs in the tour de france are massive and go on for a hell of a lot of miles.

Mo was the track highlight because he done something no other british runner has in history.

but wiggins for me. just the effort over 2 weeks in france then coming to the games and getting gold.

whatever the bike, he still had to pedal it.

"Mo Farah epitomises the ideal of the immigrant who arrived here as a child with nothing, unable to even speak English, and he has acheived his dreams."

bradley wiggns (born in ghent belgium) arived in this country aged two with nothing!,his british mother left her d*unken abusive hubby in belgium and came back to london to stay with her mother.

bradley has had hardly any contact with his father since but after his fathers mysterious murder in australia in 2008 relatives found scrapbooks full of cuttings of brads olympic & world championship success but his father had never been to see him race nor praise him on the successful career he had forged for himself in cycling.
