I work alone at home during the wee hours. I enjoy wandering through the Forum during these tranquil hours, reading threads I have missed whilst logged out.

Often, I come across sage advice dispensed, hurt souls consoled and humour that breaks the silence with my own laughter.

Each a nugget, wasted in their passing by barely noticed.

Therefore, I propose the Fab Quote Award to honour those who gave us that momentary pause. When you see a nugget, please share it with us here in the in the following format, if possible:

I don't know who said it but there was one last week on a thread which had some confusion around the junk mail analogy of why people don't reply to every message, which threw up the immortal line:

"You are the pizza leaflet sender"

Boiled please unless you know how to do a perfect poached which I'm quite fussy about.

Oh and the boiling bit. If there is any white snotty bits I can't eat it, so semi runny yolk and hard white please. About 7 minutes boil if the eggs are room temperature.

I'm the same with a cup of tea! It has to be strong but not to the point it cools too much. Just a drop of milk, not enough so you can taste the milk but just enough to make it mid brown, not dark brown.
