I'm disappointed to be honest.

I thought the ending would be more sensational.

Very disappointing, can't believe it had such a weak ending.

It made sense that Buckles was the one coordinating the ocg's instructions but there were lingering doubts about the chief constable.

Plymouth and Newcastle (sometimes)

It's not the end! There's still some loose ends to tie up.

I think that was deliberate

With ac12 being disbanded I can't see series 7 happening.

The creator of the show did say that he hopes that there will be a series 7, all depending on funding and post-COVID studio activity. Fingers crossed, as the story does not seem to have wrapped up yet. It would be a real bummer of an ending otherwise: after 6 series and 10 years "AC-12 have never been weaker"

Somewhere In The Ether…

I wanted an ending like the season 3 finale.

Alas!

And James Nesbit should win a BAFTA for his performance in the show….

Ah that ending was absolutely phenomenal! Best in the show.

Yes I thought there would be a bombshell ending so I'm disappointed in that... but greet series anyway and hopefully there will be a series 7

I was very disappointed. The amount of excitement I'd invested was wasted. I'm jaded tonight

After all the build up that ending was quite a let down.

Or was it a tempter for the next season?

I dont think its Buckells, i think he may be the fall guy and when/if they do series 7 it will show that. I still think its Kate. Things are too conveniant for her.

Secret hideaway in the pennines

I think the writers lost the plot along the way, weakest series ending I have ever seen

Personally I think dragging it out another season is rubbish because the story line is now super thin. The ending was really unimaginative and I will not be watching if there is a season 7. Can just as well read about it in the news.

Glasgow ish

I think they have left enough loose ends to make a series 7. Covid and funding will dictate when this takes place

My daughter recently introduced me to Line of Duty. I binged watched up to the last two episodes so was on tenterhooks.

I had H from the start but dismissed him when the lawyer was killed in the cell.

Just watched the last episode on catch up. To say I was underwhelmed would be an understatement!

"But what is Carmic(H)ael going to do with the dirt she's now got on Ted?"

That was a good twist, she's either going to do nothing as she's OCG linked or has developed empathy..

Or dob him in which looked unlikely from her response, could that mean she knows there's corrupt officers higher or she's part of it..

Or was Ted letting her know he's also on the take ..

Good possible link if there's another series, which I doubt with the current cast..

I was convinced the chief Constable was at the top and that’s why Hastings was replaced.

That was a superb first series

The awesome twist revealed at the end of episode two was an absolute belter!

(Am I alone in rooting for Nesbit’s character in it? Have my morals gone south?!)
