I am worried about my mums sanity!!!

She bought herself a little fluffball of a dog and it has become her life, I think she worries about it more than she worried about us when we were kids!

I've told her if she starts buying it clothes I'm having her sectioned!!!

Seriously, every conversation we have is about the dog, how good the dog is, how cute the dog is.

If we go out we can't go far cos of the dog.

shes spent all her life bringing up kids and now you have all grown up, im sure she does not care more about the dog just looking to replace her children, its a horrible feeling when your kids grow up and no longer need you, you get a feeling of worthlessness, like god what do i do now im not cooking and cleaning up after tham lol shes probably just trying to fill that void

Angus & Findhorn

My dogs have a coat for when they get clipped in the winter as they are too hot with the central heating on if I don't clip them.

They say that we eventually turn into our mothers....

It's a standing joke between me and my mum that we don't know which of us is the most demented!

How do you get them on? It's difficult enough without all that fluffy hair to contend with.

I saw it on Bondi Vets that you can get silicon implants for castrated dogs so that they can retain their macho look!

She might have done it due to missing you and any brothers or sisters you have. My sister did the same when her kids left home.

with the moon n stars somewhere in gtr manc

My princess has a ink hoodie with her name on for the winter, and an elves outfit for christmas.

She was here before my little one but loves him as if she is his mum even though she is like a puppy.

She is my baby girl and treat her like that

my hubby bought me a minature poodle when my son started school, because i had always wanted one and i missed having my son to cuddle.

she used to sit on my lap and follow me everywhere.

oooohhh me thinks someone is jealous?

My mum did the same when the last one of her girls left she went mad.

She's now got 5 dogs and they eat better than her

Phone conversations are hard as she's always talking to the dogs and you forget what you phoned up for

When we went out yesterday there was a lady crouched down talking to a cocker spaniel saying if he didnt behave he would get a smacked bottom.

The 2 westies she had with her just poked their tongues out at him
