I am the same, part of me would go back 30 years and stop a certain event, but, the strength I ended up finding as a result, has made me who I am, would I be the same

God no. Any slight deviation could have resulted in me not having the wonderful children I now have.

No I wouldn't go back to change my past.

I have experienced some very sad moments in my life but I got myself through them all. I am currently going through something very difficult indeed but I know I will get through it and I have already been amazed at my patience and resilience.

My life experiences have contributed to shaping me as a person, how I overcame each episode has made me grow as a person and I am proud of the woman I am and the role model that I am for my children.

I don't feel bad for myself for having the unfortunate and sometimes sad happenings in my life because those things were beyond my control. I am neither glad nor grateful to have experienced them, I do not dwell on the past or allow let it consume me... I am living my life for now.

My past has made me more empathetic and effective in The job I do and love just now.

I could opt to change things earlier than when I did to save my eldest kids some suffering but it would mean not having my youngest so wouldn’t do that either.

Absolutely not. Everything I've done and experienced has been a moment of learning and development, even the really horrible stuff. Being content and at peace the majority of the time is not something I'd willingly give up.

Ditto with my wife 2010 osopageal cancer

Sorry to hear that. Husband beat cancer but carried on with chemo maintenance to prolong remission. Ultimately it damaged his heart beyond repair and he died two months after chemo ended. He was 32

Nope.. cos despite the fact that i have no career, have hit rock bottom a number of times, have lost many years of my youth for various reasons, if something in my past were to change, i wouldnt be who i am today... and i wouldn't change who i am today and who i will grow into in years to come for wealth and fame or simply having a comfortable life at least.

Yes, I'd change 20/5/1992. A careless mistake cost me a lot, especially my long term health.

I'd also change 21/3/2021 another careless moment resulted in me dying in the air ambulance but recovered to wake in intensive care 2 days later. Still recovering
