"Sense of humour "

Intelligence is incredibly attractive. Ignorance is equally unattractive.

My sense of humour used to open a lot of legs. As you get older though it tends to be the keys to a Beamer that gets the attention. Unfortunately I have a Focus. Just the way it goes.

I do have a dad joke on my status.

I’ve got several colours in my eyes that change depending on the light or how big my pupils get in different lighting but technically they are called hazel

Later in life... Life in the almost-50 zone is quite different. Based on my own experience, and not saying this is everyone, but it seems stability and ability to provide is more important. I have a quite unsettled life really, and there have been quite a few times recently where it's been mentioned, whereas the men with a decent car, career, house, money, etc., get the attention. Especially looking at the various dating apps what people want.

Like I said, looks and humour was all well and good when you're thirty, now I think it's more about providing stability in the long term. If someone wants looks, there's younger and fitter, if they want material things, there's richer and older. So I'm finding myself in a bit of a limbo zone at the moment. It's been quite odd really.

Again, just my own experience.

I can make my own money thanks. This doesn't even make sense to me as women in their 40s and 50s are far more likely to be financially stable themselves than younger women. Younger women are also more likely to be looking to start a family. So it doesn't really make sense for women to be happy with looks and humour when 30 but want someone to provide for them when older.

Maybe older women don't want to be supporting a man and want someone who can be their equal financially? I'm being very careful with what I say here.

Physically it has to be eyes. You can tell a lot from someone's eyes.

But I think sense of humour and respect is important

For me it's all just their personality, humour and integrity! Doesn't matter how aesthetically pleasing a person is they'll be unattractive to me without the above being great!

Again, I'm talking from *my* experience. I don't know why you feel like it's personal? I have my experiences, you have yours. I make my assumptions based on what's happened to me. I'm not saying literally every single woman is like that, but from my experience dating and of dating sites, it's what pops up.
