Hey everybody,

I'm making a playlist of piano tunes. Anybody got suggestions?

Can be instrumental. Already have Michael Nyman, Yevgeny Grinko and Yann Tiersenn. Or more indie pop; Max Jury, Carole King.

I'm also a sucker for house tracks with piano loops.

Hit me with some tunes.

Love to hear that played on piano unaccompanied. Puts me in mind of the public piano in St Pancras station. You can here all sorts.

Got the classic club mix of Where Love Lives playing now. I really want an instrumental version of it. Her vocals are great, but it would make a cracking progressive house track without.

My wife is mad about this tik tok guy called V-man who just remixes 90’s piano stuff and his wife does vocals.

My description of him sounds really crappy but I hate to admit he’s actually really good.

Chopin works is the best piano repertoire in my opinion when it comes to classical music.

Nocturnes

Waltzes

Ballades

Some preludes

When it comes to pop, love the piano in The way it is by Bruce Hornsby , I heard it on the radio a few years ago and loved the piano part of the song

"Chopin works is the best piano repertoire in my opinion when it comes to classical music.

Nocturnes

Waltzes

Ballades

Some preludes

When it comes to pop, love the piano in The way it is by Bruce Hornsby , I heard it on the radio a few years ago and loved the piano part of the song "

Not a fan of Bruce, but I'm interested in the Chopin.

Anything with Agnes Obel but would suggest Riverside as a start

Try Melody Gardot - Anything, but Love me like a river does is a good start point

For pure piano try Yann Tiersen the soundtrack from Goodbye to Lenin would serve you well but my favourite would be Porz Goret

Bill Evans? Another new one on me. Listened. It's in"

Amazing piece. You may find your stance on jazz changing. Bill Evans is one of the jazz greats!

Although it’s based on Bernstein, he’d definitely heard Chopin Berceuse, which is gorgeous.

Tony Scott - Burungkaka Tua is a similar tune.

Nick Cave - Into My Arms would be my choice for a simple, but lovely piano piece

Ravel piano concerto in G, 2nd movement is goregeous.

CeCe Rogers - Someday is probably my favourite house music piano riff.
