Birmingham

Lay-Z-Spa Helsinki, twelve hundred smackers due to demand but they actually look really impressive.

Will be able to have it in the conservatory 8 months a year, outside over the summer... should work well.

Any buying tips?

Maldon and Peterborough

The conservatory will just get steamed up very quickly.

I have a Lay-z-spa miami which i supposed to be a 4 person - not in a month Sundays.

Get some Eva mats for underneath - extra comfort.

Don't buy cheap chlorine tablets.

Be prepared that it will only warm up about 3 degrees per hour.

But - enjoy.

Well we have double french doors and two openers, so ventilation should be no problem when it's open. If it is I'm sure I can put in an extractor or such. I'm hoping that the cover means that steam is not an issue when covered though, all seems like a very snug fit from the videos.

Chams or Socials

Fill from your hot water tap. Look after your water. Look after your water. Look after your water. If you are on book of face there is a really helpful (sometimes sarcastic) group that taught me a lot. We have a Miami you can get 4 in but it’s tight

We've been using a simple 2.2m intex pool with heater for the last 2 years so have some knowledge of this world, but all a bit hit and miss. With the long term usability of this, this'll be where hopefully the knowledge starts sinking in a bit more!

My nan’s spare room.

I got one of the smaller lay z spas. I love it.

Top tip.

If you are on a combo boiler fill the hot tub from the hot water tap. It’ll be cheaper and far quicker.

Not actually in stock, not a chance. And if you genuinely find one at that price, please don't tell me!

There's going to be quite a hosepipe lash up coming shortly...

Coventry

(If not already) get your self clued up on all the chemicals, products and proportions. And buy in bulk, saves a lot of the silly costs charged for small amounts. Preferably buy at the time of year when demand is lower and prices better.

Also extra filters, always good to have a few filters on rotation.

Dubai & Nottingham

I’ve been in a few , outdoors and in converted garages with good ventilation, both are nice and work well if designed right, steps, lighting, close to the bar etc. But it’s kind nice to be in a hot tub outside sipping champagne with snow falling on you

Next doors have a hot tub. They're always in it sipping champagne - especially green with envy at Xmas time

I live in the countryside and mine is a fibreglass inground one. There are mice that can get in the skid pack and underneath the tub, and the worst thing that seems to have happened is that the wires to one of the lights has been chewed so its not working.

Summer is ok as we have a snake that goes under it and eats the mice..

wood fuelled is ok but takes an age to heat up a large one. I have an air to water heat pump on mine that can heat from 15 deg to 40 degrees in about 5 hours.. That said if you burn oak the smell is lovely.. Any advice feel free to pm me.
