I'm not asking for people to give away specific locations, just what they would answer with - either the town/city they currently live or the town/city of their birth?

Im only asking because i read the article 2Wheels posted in another thread where a gent was arrested for painting a Royal Mail postbox in the town Ben Ainslie currently lives in and has done for 15 years however Royal Mail chose to paint a postbox gold down in Cornwall where he was born.

Id either opt for the location your parents lived when you were a baby/your birth was registered... or your current location now

My brother was born in Germany (British Hospital mind) and is by no means German

I'm very much a wherever I lay my hat kinda guy as to where I consider 'home'. I was born in London, dragged up in Bedfordshire, have worked all over the UK, lived in a few parts of it and now I'm in Tyne & Wear. I think I'm slowly invading Scotland.

I think its where you grew up that makes you who your are, my partents are from Sicily but i wouldnt class myself as Sicilian, tho my dad disagrees, he always says if your born in a stable it dont make you a cow lol

If you didnt grow up in a country its hard to class yourself as that regardless of your roots

Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

I was born in Whitehaven as that was the nearest hospital at the time, Mam was in about a week then bought me home to Arse End where I've been ever since (barring holidays of course) - I've never considered myself a Marra and never will....I'll be an Arse Ender till the day I die

I ( Gill ) was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne, moved to North Herts at 13, back to Newcastle at 16, back to Herts at 20. Now live in North Essex where I intend to see my days out. ( excuse my essay answer but am at work and bored!! )
