If as a couple you initiate a chat with and interested fabber how often and how frequent do you expect them to engage in conversation with you?

Considering there's a no meets rule in place and the current restrictions on covid mean meets can't happen how much would expect so one to converse with you?

Disclaimer.... Im just trying to get a feel across the board and don't need advice for me specifically.

It wouldn't be every day, I am chatting to a couple, and I will drop a message or get a message back every 3 or 4 days, just keeps us in contact without getting complacent

For us, after an initial conversation to establish an interest we wouldn’t really expect any regular conversation until it’s a time when meeting is more realistic, comfortable and safe for all.

Ok. Misunderstood that. Some women we would talk to daily if they become friends. Sometimes it's daily until the meet and then it can fall off. Depends on the person I guess

I guess it all depends on what you are looking for, nobody is tied to messaging people then there's they have a life outside of fab aswell if they are interested I'm sure they will keep up the convo

We message maybe a couole of times a week, it's hard with no meets being arranged atm.

But even out of lockdown, It would probably be the same as we're busy, we only check fab evey few days x

I usually let the other party decide how much they want to chat. If they message daily and we are having good conversation then that's great but if they just want to touch base now and again that's also fine.

Everyone's situation is different, I'm working from home so have more spare time on my hands than some.

We usually find the longer time goes on without a meet the less messages get exchanged but that's only natural at the moment.

that's not good. It was 2 months ago we chatted last.. can't see what it was about, boring stuff probably!!

Yes, there are no hard and fast rules on this. Some people like lots of chat before a meet, some people hardly want any...for us the main rule is we never follow up any unanswered messages - rightly or wrongly, we assume no more conversation is welcome.

People have lives. Just a quick check in once a week so we know they’re still alive and interested is fine. If people go quiet after a while we just remove them from our friends list.

We see all our good friends quite often anyway.

Think it depends on where you are at with a couple. Just started chatting, you’ll want to establish a connection and talk more. Been chatting a while, you’ll just want to touch base every so often.

We take chats onto telegram and so it’s easier to converse with 3/4 people. And we all just reply as and when...we are both home based so it’s easier to log on and send a message.

If something is being planned soon, then you’d expect the chat to increase to build up the excitement...

If it’s been weeks then I suspect their interest has gone...

As with everything we do here, we just see how it goes rather than try to force it. If the conversation grows organically that's a good sign and something to build upon but if it fizzles out then we let it do so and move on.

To add to the above, we're not desperate to meet and don't measure 'success' by how many guys we have fun with. Our only measure of success is finding the right guy no matter how long it takes.

It's hard to say, is suppose it just depends on the flow that happens naturally. We are not really ones for endless back and forth on fab. If we know someone well we'd probably be talking via another app or messenger. It's always best just keep a certain distance till you meet in real life and get a true measure of each other. That's probably why we tend to meet new people at clubs rather than Fab. Just works better for us that way.

after a few messages on here we tend to whats app people, and chat maybe every week or so, more if we are aranging a meet obviously, but not atm

I'd agree with this

Although don't take it to heart if they have been super busy, everyone has a life outside of here.

We speak to people we have met/looking to meet quite regularly.
