The dentist.

Just had a back tooth removed at the dentist as it was causing me pain. Needed four injections and it bled alot when it came out but I was not allowed to rinse out my mouth as usual due to covid regulations. Was offered a drink of water but was told I would need to swallow it. On way home now and feeling sorry for myself .

My friend was allowed to spit. Guess allll dentists must be different.

That's terrible.

1000 people a day can walk around a supermarket and put multiple touches on multiple items. But you cannot do that in a sterile environment.

That's strange, as when I went I just spit it into another cup they gave me then poured it down the sink.

Mr J has recently been too in the last couple of weeks and he didn't have to do that.

Bet that was horrible for you.

Ouch! At least it's done and you can feel better now.

When I had a root canal done, I was allowed to rinse and spit but it was from one cup into another which was a bit odd.

You shouldn't rinse after an extraction anyway as it can remove the clot in the cavity and cause excruciating dry socket.

Has one out myself last week.
