Kettering ish

When I joined fabswingers many years ago it used to be much easier to meet people. Now it appears that this site has become a sexy version of Facebook. I send messages to people and hear nothing back, not even a thanks but no thanks message. Then you read that some people, normally ladies have received over 150 mails in one day! Has Fab become a victim of its own success?

Where you can go wrong on here is come into it with too many expectations or comparing yourself with others.

This site and like life in general, you will either make connections or you won't. Try not to focus on things too much, enjoy the ride.

Get involved on the forums, have a laugh with people and enjoy perving obviously

sometimes you meet the right people just being you, you don't have to try so hard

Sites change and evolve and not always for the better . This has been a difficult 15 months for those in the life style and whilst there maybe no going back to what it was I think there will be enough people out there making it happen.

I joined during this bug thing and I was like a dog with 2 dicks messaging every woman on here...getting pissed off with no replies...then I came on the forums and now I dont send many messages now...its easier for the ladies to find me now....they haven't yet found me but ill keep posting shit on here till one does....

1. It's not legal to meet anybody at the moment. Fines can be imposed for breeching the pandemic restrictions.

2. Most messages a lot of people receive are just not worth responding to, and we're in a period when all we can do is message people. Vapid e-mails are just not going to cut it. Are your messages worth putting in time to reply?

I came here with no expectations at all because I had no idea what it was even about really!

I looked at profiles but didn’t send any messages. I stumbled into the Forum and lurked for about a month to get a sense of what it’s all about. I learnt a great many things here before I decided to dive in. I must say, it’s all been jolly good fun.

It’s a pandemic no one meeting and with this long periods chats can fizzle in to nothing

most fab meets are a lust if they prolonged then that lust and shine wares off

For me anyway

In normal times I have a meet rapped up within a week if local

If not local then within a month

That’s not to see it’s a one and done meet or a meet now

But say messages on Monday then I find a day that week we’re both free

And for none local meets the same but within that month

A victim of its own success? I believe so in a way. In so much that people don't research swinging, the lifestyle and morals which it encompasses. In so much that they've heard through the grapevine they just need a cock and will be knee deep in poontang before they've even polished their helmet. In so much that there's an air of expectation and an inability to respect or speak to people for the humans they are instead of seeing them as no more than a cock hungry vagina. In so much that societally the "I want therefore I get" brigade are facing the word "no" for the first time in their lives where no actually means no and it frustrates them, up until now they've pretty much had everything at their fingertips, in an instant on the whole with minimum effort.

So I'll tell you the same as I tell them, don't rely on the site to MAKE new connections. Get off your arse, make an effort and go to the places where people are, be it an organised social or a club and use the site as a tool to KEEP those connections you make in said places.
