OP, I have such a day in my calendar too. It's a hard, hard thing. This year it will be the 29th one I've had to face. It never gets easier but somehow we find the strength to cope and the peace to remember with love.

I'll be thinking of you.

As was I.

To lose a child (an assumption I am making based on the OPs first post) is a terrible thing. And in that, you are alone OP but not alone, I know full well that loss. There is a whisper in my halls when there should be laughter, we march on, because that’s what we do.

But your grief does not give you the right to belittle or question another’s empathy in such a manner. I’ll leave it at that. Be strong tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that, for all days.
