According to the daily mail website, her mother is missing too and also the mother used to be in a relationship with the grandmothers boyfriend

Why the police leave it weeks to search relatives homes when a lot of cases like this end up being a relative is beyond me

The police do this intentionally and the pschycologists watch their every move on camera. they can usually tell if they are guilty or hiding something. They then concentrate their efforts breaking them down.

still very sad though... taken before she has chance to experience life.

I said to Siren yesterday that they won't find her alive. How could the grandmother not know her granddaughter's body was at her house? At least you can choose who your friends are but some unlucky people are stuck with scum for family.

I am hoping he doesn't, because nothing would give me greater pleasure than knowing he will lead a life of mental and physical torment for his remaining days.

And at 37, there's a good few of them to go at !

Its not been a good week for deaths all round, there was a car crash in leicester that went on the pavent and killed two little children(one died a day later)

I'm sorry, but you can't say that about the police. No one knows the circumstances, except those involved in the investigation. (not wanting to start an argument about the police etc on such a thread)

It is such a sad and heartbreaking thing to happen to any child.

My thoughts are with her family and friends.

My thoughts and prayers are with those soldiers as well.

they said on the news it was difficult to search the grandmother's house, as the family all congregated there to support each other etc.

They were allegedly told last night, a full search of the premises would take place today, which is why the grandmother went off this morning.

Glad they have found him, hopefully he will give some answers if he was involved.

They would not do a thorough or forensic check of the home for a missing child where there is no need to be suspicious in the first instance. But, that will all be exercised in the press no doubt. For now, there is sadness and shock.

My condolences to the family of the Soldier, little Tia and the carer

Lest we never forget the peoplewho fight for their country.

May we always remember to watch our childrens and our communities children and keep them safe.

May we also remember that carers have to deal with alot so candles are lits for them all.

she was at work when the little un was staying there..
