What are your thoughts that make you sad/question yourself?

I've just been looking at the moon and it just dawned on me, that I am looking at a place that I will never get a chance to go to ... all the way up there we see it and we want to go ... but one day the future generation they'll probably be travelling there like it's a holiday destination or public transportation.

Something that we'll never be able to do, kind of unfair isnt it? ...

I prefer to be positive and look at the glass half full. It’s not my thing seeing a thread about these kinda things.

Not going to the moon saddens you? You can’t go there, and that’s inflicting sadness. That’s a little odd

Why I've done some of the things I've done in the past. If I could go back and change it I would, but I can't.

However I also know there is no point beating myself up about it. I have moved on from the experiences, and I have grown into a different person to what I used to be, and a much better person for it, and I am very proud of where I am now.

Disagree totally. Life’s a bitch. Realise this and things change. Bad things are at every corner, but, they are for everyone. You can make it what you want. Push for what you desire and don’t stop until you have achieved the things you want to be/do.

I'm afraid I'm firmly in the positive/optimistic camp OP...sometimes all you need are the little things. I appreciate those little things, seek them out every single day, and focus on them despite all of the negative stuff that every single one of us has to deal with. Our time on this mortal coil is short, so I'm damn well going to enjoy myself while I'm here...give me more laughter lines please, I've had oodles of fun getting each and every one of them

The way I think of it is, when you are on your death bed, that moment your life’s memory flashes before your eyes....will it fill you with regrets...if so, don’t let those images happen

It's amazing that you were born at the time you were. Look at how you have such wonderful science knowledge in your brain. Past generations did not know that the moon was the size that it is. They could not have conceived that one day people would see it through telescopes, realise it's matter and size, know it's distance from Earth and mind blowingly build a craft that would enable them to travel to it and to see the barren waste and craters.

People thought the moon was a Goddess, They thought it was light. They thought it only appeared at night. They thought it was cheese. They didn't know about gravity and that they'd weigh less on the moon.....

You know these things though because you were born now.....

If you MUST have thoughts that sadden you - Don't make it about something that isn't about now, hasn't yet happened and isn't likely to. Set your thoughts to things that you CAN control and improve x

I feel sad that I'm excited and impatient to go out for a meal, play at clubs and go on an expensive holiday, then i watch the news regarding the covid issues in under developed country's and atrocities to inocent people living with war and famine.

Makes me feel sad and selfish x

I'd agree with this

But life just 'is'. Ideas of 'fair' and 'unfair' are human concepts.

There are things I've done which I felt I 'should' be doing but, while sort of glad I did them, didn't really enjoy the experience.

I have accepted who I am and what I am like and how I want to live my life and I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.

Accept you for you and not others or societies view on what you should be like or should or should not be doing.
