a Primark shoebox in Leicester

I drove up to the shops ealier, not the shop near me, the ones a bit further away as I wanted to use the cashpoint and go to the post box.... anyway....

some guy chatting to his mate calls over to me "Don't you remember me?"

No clue as to why I should, my immediate thoughts were:

If it was work I would remember the face.

He's too short for me to have arranged a 1-2-1.

He might have been at a party... but I don't recall his face.

Bloody hell has he shagged me?

Is it someone who has messaged me?

The pause needed filling by that point so I smiled, shrugged my shoulders and shook my head slowly, hoping he'd give a clue.

He added.... "you had a different car"

Oh shit, have I watched him wanking somewhere, how does he know my car?

I've not had this car long, so that doesn't help.

Was he in the car park at Chams?

Oh feck I need more clues!

I need more time to think!

I explained he didn't look familiar and he explained he had spoken to me once at the other shop months ago

FFS... my mind was racing with alsorts of possible encounters........ thank feck I didn't put my foot in it.

Odd how just a simple question can catch you off guard if you are thinking of something else at the time.
