I bought Miley Cyrus' new one, Plastic Hearts on Friday, only just discovered how good a voice she has, and the type of music she sings. Thought it was all gonna be be bubblegum pop music from her Hannah Montana days.

How wrong can a man be? She Rocks!

Great question, because I don't think I've bought a cd in 10 or 15 years. MP3 / streaming or vinyl only now. Last piece of Vinyl I bought was Isles by Bicep

I've got shed loads of stuff on vinyl, but can't be arsed to get up and turn it over every 20 minutes

I'm fond of saying, with a serious face; what I love most about vinyl is the expense and inconvenience.

"Hits 96"

Hits 96 is a compilation album released in 1995. Part of the Hits compilation series, it contains UK hit singles from the second half of 1995. The album reached number 1 on the UK compilations chart and was at number 1 for a total of five weeks.

Why was it released in 1995?

Haha, I need to buy a new tweeter for mine,(they're 1969 Leak Sandwich speakers) and I've had to fashion new flanges to accommodate the various tweeters and woofers that I've blown up over the years

Yeah, I tend to buy CD's rather than download stuff, at least you can look at the sleeve/artwork while you're listening to it.

Is 1969 the year or the model number? I'm imagining some brown boxed, cloth covered beauties it's the former. Leak is good kit.

Good choice

John Mellencamp is/was so under appreciated in the UK, I'm going to sit in the sun and listen to the Lonesome Jubilee today.
