Jheez, only 2 episodes left.

In preparation of tomorrow's episode. Hopefully the title of post will prevent those yet to catch up from reading the thread

There are 7 episodes in this season. They also haven't ruled out a 7th season.

apparently there is a 29 minute interrogation scene tonight... IMO they are what made the show so great in the early series so really looking forward to seeing what they do with this one!

"It actually wouldnt surprise me if they killed Kate at this point.. makes sense as she has already left AC12!"

My guess is one of three things have happened.

Ryan and Kate have shot each other

AC12 have arrived and shot Ryan

AC12 arrived and shot Ryan, and Kate and/or Ryan are badly injured and it's unclear whether they'll survive

Yes that's a good shout actually, they could have arrived! Other possibility is Jo had a gun too and shoots Ryan to save Kate.

I’m thinking Jo is the 29 min interview

Kate is fine

I’m hoping Ryan was shot but not killed as I really want to hear his story - he’s a fantastic actor

T doesn’t watch it & has been issued with a Reg 15

Yeah I think Jo is the obvious choice for interview, but wildcard could be Kate...

I also have a feeling that we'll see one of the main 3 killed off tonight it was expected last week and didn't seem to happen, so would be a huge shock factor tonight.

The pathos of Kate dying - as Hastings is accepting her back into the fold, ish - would be pretty powerful.

Ooh. What if Jo tried to save the day and Kate shot Jo?

... Probably not given the long interrogation, I'm 90% sure that has to be Jo (could be - fuck I've forgotten his name - their boss who just saw the lawyer get killed). But an interesting possibility.

I'm writing it in my head

We need to know Ryan and Jo's story so it makes sense they survive. As much as I don't want it too happen, my money's on Kate dying!

Also, if Ryan is arrested. Hastings had cause for the surveillance, which helps his case against the top dogs

Interesting how everyone who's interrogated only discloses select information when they are interviewed. "It's Carmichael that's the bent one she kept moving the interview away from the 4th man.

I think the copper in Spain is related to Davidson also. ... That just seems too obvious that it's Carmichael.. I haven't ruled out Hastings but I don't want it to be....

Jesus, Mary, Joseph and the wee Donkey... We better find out next week!!

I hope we don't find out because I want another season."

I don't think we're going to find out next Sunday either!

Whoever is under the floor in the print shop wil lead us in the final season hopefully with Hastings still at the helm!

"Well well well. Not sure what to think after that. One thing is for certain, Carmichael is annoying.

It’s those little smug smiles she keeps giving...

She's great..

"

She is an amazing actress. There are so many strong female leads in L.O.D. They tend to go unsung.

If she's getting under people's skin it's cos she's a great actress.

Her portrayal of a middle aged woman in Motherland was sooooooo believable.

Great comedic actress too.

Good in what ever she does.

Agree she's at the top of her game, something chilling in her portrayal yet at the same time attractive..

Somewhere In The Ether…

I hope this isn’t the final season.

Indeed, I’m struggling to believe that all the loose ends will be finally and decisively tied up in the final episode next week.

And James Nesbit’s character ‘dead’ without even appearing in the show? Pull the other one Mr Mercurio - I’m not falling for that for a second!

"Interesting how everyone who's interrogated only discloses select information when they are interviewed. I'm getting more convinced that Hastings is more involved than we think, thats why nobody will speak infront of him. Maybe he's not bent anymore but something is definitely off there and Steve knows it

Yes! Why say "no comment" and then own up to a shooting you didn't commit!

Frustrating "

I missed some of it but it's frustrating, ss you say.

Carmichael's smiles are all good. The insincere ones, the smug insincere ones too. Are there some that reveal how much more she knows too?

I read somewhere that Nesbitt was miffed about not being cast in the series, so maybe that was Mercurio's piss take.

I hope so, as I've always thought Nesbitt rather too big for his boots

Jesus, Mary, Joseph and the wee donkey...

Don't be a tit, Sarge.

Cracking lines. Brilliant episode, script and performances from those involved. So much to pack into the final episode next week, leaves me wondering if it'll be 3h long or a 7th series to follow.

"apparently there is a 29 minute interrogation scene tonight... IMO they are what made the show so great in the early series so really looking forward to seeing what they do with this one!"

Carmichael tapped her pen 4 times during the interrogation last night....

Also, wonder who are the 2 people that were walking towards Thirwell in the Marina pic?

Carlisle

Ok stretching the point here maybe but I’ve just seen the scene where Jo and Kate give themselves up to Steve again....what is going on with Jo’s fingers? They are very mobile when she has her hands up.... maybe nerves at getting arrested? a palsy of some sort? or typing out a code to someone who has ‘eyes’ on her through a telescopic site?? Thoughts?
