I was a child prodigy on the violin in the 80s.... considered "the next Nigel Kennedy"

Burned out in 1990, just about managed my Royal School of Music grade 8 the year before. Hsvebtt played on stage since.

Every now and then I've picked my violin up and had a go.... But didn't enjoy it....

Until this year. In March I actually felt a little of the old magic. I can play on my own terms, not to please others. If I will ever take to a stage again, I don't know.

I'm a barely competent piano/keyboard player and quite a good singer.

I play bass in a dub/ funk quartet, we fuse the best of dub n funk and totally make it our own. But because of lockdown we couldn’t jam, so I’ve just been playing Guitar Hero, I’m up to Level 42.

P.O. Box DE1 0NQ

When I went to Boarding School, ma Dad asked me if I wanted to learn a musical instrument, I said yes, a piano, so he bought me a guitar.

The second Boarding School didn't have a guitar tutor, when he asked what I would like to learn, I said yes, a piano, so he bought me a trumpet

Hence I can play all 3, but very badly

I’ve recorded songs on GuitarBand on my phone, they’re there, just don’t know what to do with them now, whether I put them on SoundCloud, but I don’t really know how to do that.

Easiest thing to do is put them on sound cloud

Soundcloud app no ? Only done this on android but if they're saved in a file on your phone then its very straightforward to transfer.
