A spot you want me

This is a game changer for late night snacking

Needs a bit of repetitive dipping (know you're all fans of that) but they're crispy af and soft in the centre

Any other culinary hacks to share?

This is the only way we use to make waffles. It's the best.

My hack is for BBQ. cook your burgers in an oven before you spark up the grill.

Put bbq sauce in a large bowl and then dip the cooked burgers into the sauce and pop them on the grill to finish.

You get lovely sticky burgers without burning.

when i make pancakes i make a big batch , separate them with parchment paper and freeze them

then like the waffles i do them in the toaster straight from frozen - defrosted and cooked at the same time, fluffy in the middle, crispy on the outside

it makes bbq quicker and taster.

Sausages, chicken, ribs. All of it goes in the oven first. Then finish on the grill.

Toast pizza. Lightly toast the bread, then cover in ketchup, ham, onion, pepper, mushroom, whatever you have in the fridge, pineapple (don’t riot), add grated cheese then grill

I'm far lazier than that... I'm not turning the grill on for a pizza toast lol mine goes in the microwave (eaten quickly before it goes hard).

Try an air fryer - game changer for oven chips, beefburgers, meatballs and chicken pieces without adding any fat.

If done right, it's not too bad.

I used to cook up sausage, egg and bacon sarnies for a few peeps at work, but we only had a microwave so had a lot of trial and error getting them right.

They way I found was to put a small plate upside down on a big plate.

Lay the bacon over the small plate, then place another small plate ontop to squash them down.

Then slap it in the microwave... can't remember the timing though sorry.

The fat runs off the small plate onto the big one so the bacon doesn't boil in it and the plate on top stops it going too hard.

If you don't want to wash all the plates, you can just place a sheet of kitchen roll on top, but I never found the results as good (and I hated picking off the paper of it tore)

On a mooch

Don’t cry cutting onions again.... slice off the top, peel off the skin, cut a small slice on the side to give you a flat edge, place on that side and slice top to bottom and the discard the root. If you cut the root off first you’ll cry as it is the strongest part.

If you swap the ketchup for tinned chopped tomatoes heated in the microwave then put on the toast then you have what I lived on at uni.

Even better is a bit of tomato purée mixed with olive oil and oregano

Healthy option:

Asparagus. Place your asparagus in aluminum foil or a toaster bag. Add your seasoning and toast to perfection. Trust me on this, it works!

Less healthy option:

Doritos/tortillas laid out on a plate, a bit of salsa and grated cheese on each. A few scattered chillis. Microwave for about 30 seconds or until the cheese

starts to melt. Quick and easy.
