Does anyone else go to bed the day before a day off work wanting a nice long lie in the next morning, only to wake up at the crack of sparrows unable to sleep???????

I have never had a real lay in. A later start for me would be 7 a.m. and that rarely happens.

Yes, usually because Doug over the road has decided:

A) to mow his lawn at stupid o’clock or;

B) has turned into Bob the bloody builder. Can he fix it? No he can’t!

Oh yes. Having been a dad to kids (who sadly no longer live with me), it's almost impossible to sleep beyond 8am. Occasionally I get to 9am. It's conditioning over years and years.

Yup but I love mornings. It's the best time of the day for me. You could always have an afternoon siesta to catch up
