"I've got loads of those bands and never wear them for the sane reason. I think I might just have a giant head! " I doubt that. I think that it's the sensation that they will ping off rather than reality. I bought some recently and wear them quite a lot but I'm sitting here now wanting to fiddle with it (stop giggling at the back )

"Have you got them at the right angle on your head?" Lord knows. Is there a right angle? I just put it on and hope for the best

"one of the women at work wears these all the time... she is absolutely stunning and out of nowhere I developed a 'thing' for women wearing them its one of those normal bits of clothing that when worn right can complete a really sexy look!" See it's the when worn right bit I'm having a problem with

"I can't wear them as they bug the hell out of me but make sure they are pulled to the front at the top and just sat at the angle of your head at the bottom. All else fails, chuck them in the bin and don't bother " I can't do that they're gorgeous. Some are tropical patterns and some are floral. Besides I can't get to the hairdresser until next week and you should see my roots

I'm liking how these head bands look and how they might extend the time between washes too. Now I'm a bandana novice, would I tie it in a knot?

You can tie a knot at the bottom, underneath your hair. It's depends how you want to wear it. There's loads of different ways. I quite liked the handkerchief sort of look. Covers most of the top of your hair but doesn't restrict or pull you hair underneath. These were my life saver in my teenage years when I got out of bed late and didn't have time to wash my hair or was growing a colour out

I'll skip the handkerchief style, it doesn't suit me at all, I look like a member of a nearby religious sect

"Have you thought about sleeping in a tight elastic band until you've got a nice deep groove in your skull ? How about painting one on ? Maybe's a few skull screws so that you can change the bow daily like people change their earrings or dentures? I'm a genius " Some people would call you a genius Granny, that is true. Now where's the Black and Decker...

"I thought it was just me. I hate when it creeps up then "pings" off. Somewhat puts a dent in the chic look I'm striving for. While we're at it, how can some people look so damn good in hats and I look like I've tied a carrier bag on my nut?? " Now I can wear a hat. I've got a few . The trick is to find hats that fit and that suit your style

"You have to pin them behind your ears, with hairgrips. My girls used to dance with headbands on and we pinned them in place. Drastic measures called for a sewing needle and thread." Hairgrips behind the ears, right I've put them everywhere but there. You sewed them on your girl's heads

"4x bobby pins in opposite directions so 2 x top to bottom and 2 x bottom to top. If I wear them which is rarely I try to pin behind the ears or at the base to cover the pins a bit. Hope that makes sense" It does, thank you
