So how long is an acceptable amount of time to have quit smoking, to change the status on my profile as a non-smoker?

I suppose as long as you're not having the occasional one you can change it.

The trick is not to have the occasional one. My opinion.

Okehampton

I like to smoke a pipe once in a while. I only do it for affect, it makes me feel eccentric and olde worldy ( I also get to say “the game is afoot” when I get a message on fab)

OP if you have quit you are a non smoker, right up to when you start again.

Indeed. Congrats.

From my experience you probably would need more exercise after quitting... I put on about 10kg in 6 months

Although I'm glad I'm not coughing and spluttering anymore, I really need to get my weight back down... No point avoiding strokes due to carbon monoxide but to get stroke due to cholesterol
