Adding a hair bobble to my jeans' button to make sure they stay up

Never really worn makeup out, but hair has been dyed, needs a trim and tidy up, but I'm in no rush.

I'm waiting until the crazy dies down re hair. Haven't covered the grey in a year, want to, lazy.

Near daily gym going is profoundly incompatible with WGM (curly girl method for waves)

No one up in my face re beauty treatments until I'm fully jabbed.

Saw that Benefit are not allowing NHS staff to have eyebrow waxes because of potential Covid exposure. Wtf

Hair bobble - wish Id known that trick - the button has just popped off my favoirite shorts. It lost the war of attrition with expanding waist

I'm curvy in a new way but enjoying my hard gym time. The hair etc can wait, as it's such a hassle trying to book before next Christmas.

I'm currently rocking Pippi Snowflake Longstocking. Plaits to keep hair off my neck and elastic from pressing into my skull while I bench press, plus mask

.

I had a trim yesterday, I'm going to be getting it dyed in the next month or so - I've got a target weight to reach and then that's my reward. I've not had it done in years and years, I probably need that time to decide on the right colour.

Had to delay my haircut to 4th May (was 27th April) because my Dad had the audacity to have hospital appointments on the 27th

I shall remain bush-like for an extra week

Fortunately I've kept on top of personal grooming over lockdown, I do it all myself anyway. I lost weight last summer doing Keto, so no crash dieting needed for bikini-wearing purposes.

I really really really need some new clothes, which means going to a big town with shops. I'm so used to my tiny little market town that the thought of going anywhere more urban gives me palpitations. I'll get there, I'm working on it.......

perth

Dyed my hair the other day in an attempt to cover some of the grey. Daughter tidied up my eyebrows for me.

This afternoon I'm meeting up with 3 of my best friends, for a glass of wine and catch up outdoors, for the first time since last summer. I am going to make an effort for the occasion & put on a dress & some make up. Am feeling emotional & excited but also a little bit terrified as I honestly don't know if I will remember how to socialise!

surrounded by twinkly lights

I had lowlights which banished the brown highlights that turned ginger In the sun so I have my natural brunette waves back with slight grey threaded through and I feel much happier embracing my grey

Eyelash tint on wed made such a difference it solidified in my brain why I actually have them done which was nice, add to that a facial wax and shape and C is back

Oh and I had my AZ jab this morning

the abyss

I've got my hair appointment booked for the end of April and I'm ridiculously excited!! Other than that I don't really care what I look like

I've started to try and move a bit more now though since I'll have to be seen by general public soo and expected to wear something other than really old stretchy leggings

I'm contemplating going beyond this square mile sometime soon.

I colour my own hair but could do with getting it cut.

I know it's getting too long, when I lean back on it in a chair and then can't properly move my head

I am not a dandy poser of any sort, but I have worn uniform or doss clothes for so long now.

I look at my wardrobe of suits, jackets, 40 shirts, jeans and my shoes and just want to get dressed up and walk out the house. Feel smart and presentable for once.

I have never felt this need before.
