when i ventured out with my bairns for the first time mid-first lockdown (our first trip to the supermarket) and we had to queue for 90 minutes in the cold, and we played games like eye spy and the hand clapping games the whole time, and they were so so good... being stopped by strangers in the shop telling me how good my children were and how happy they were which was lovely to see.

made me feel so proud of them, and myself that im singlehandedly raising fantastic mini humans
