Not the ones you play on your consoles... but the ones we use to play at the arcades or when the fairs come thru...

Did you have a favourite or was there a game you just happen to be really good at....

Racing games were my thing... so super Monaco gp, operation wolf, .... was bloody brilliant even if I don’t mind saying myself at track and field, and outrun! Found the outrun soundtrack on Spotify and now playing it whilst tootling around at 30.... lol like my inner 13-14 yr old coming out!!

So did you have your favourite big arcade games?

Built a bartop running RetroPi and loaded it up with a bunch of games.

I can also recommend Arcade Club in Bury, they have a whole floor of 70s 80s and 90s arcade games

1 Are you familiar with Starwing/Starfox franchise From the SNES console, home of the Arwing? This is bordering on copyright infringement anda massive nod and wink to that Star Wars arcade game. Lylat wars even has the voice that sounds like Spock.

Been there done that, OWN the t-shirts and Arwing!
