Why is the ratio of men to women in this site above 100 to 1 given that the population is approximately 1 to 1?

There are many reasons.

There is the classic "view" that a woman that active seeks sex is some kind of Harlot, whilst a bloke doing the same is just a "player".

Or that women are less inclined to search out "extramarital" relations.

Then there is the idea that women can generally "pull" on an average night out, so feel less inclined to use services such as Fab to find "vanilla" sex.

I'm not convinced the ratio is quite as extreme as 100:1. The reason for the disparity is simply that this sort of thing appeals to many more men than women. Part of that is biology and part of that is upbringing.

Whilst the headline of male to female appears 100:1 in reality, we’ve found it to be more like 2:1 if you assume 98% of male profiles to any of the following: fake, lazy, timewasters, or married and cheating. Don’t know what the accurate female member is like, fake female accounts get found out quite quickly here.

The 2 decent men in every 100 are however very nice, just as much as the females are.

The above is based on our experience of this site, but i suspect every site is bout the same.

Yep. The good decent men definitely stand out from the not good ones.

Unfortunately if 100 not good ones send messages, the one decent bloke's message gets kicked onto the 2nd inbox page and women can't see it.

It may seem like 100 to 1 but that because there is a greater turn over of women joining and leaving the site than men, men will stick around as observers women won’t. My calculation is 10 to 1 m to f join the site. Women can get sex more easily than men, so many don’t need a site like this. I think 8-9 out of 10 men fantasise about it but are afraid to pursue it and use the site just as observers and as a sexual thrill and exciting thing to imagine it rather then do. It is why porn is more popular among men, as imagery and imagination can be enough to satisfy a man to get off on.
