If you drop food, what would stop you applying the 5 second rule? What if it's really good food...?

Scientists have recently discovered that bacteria are much slower on the uptake that previously believed....by the time they've decided that the food is good to eat there's still plenty of time to snatch it away from their hideous little mitts before they hop aboard. Govt are advising we now stick to the two and a half hour rule.
