I used to work in a town that is the same name as my surname. If I went into shop with my work ID badge on I was always asked if it was my real name, as there's no-one living there with that name.

After working there for a couple of years my boss told me that I was taken on because of the novelty of my name, and then added - "but you're doing very well"
