Deodorant most definitely.

Shaving armpits, each to their own.

Wouldn't dream of getting dressed without it, deodorant and then aftershave.

Thankfully i've always had nice comments that i always smell nice and different (aftershave wise)

I take a cigarette lighter to singe the armpit hair then rub my arms against my torso then I am good for that day.

Who cares if I smell of burnt wood?

I feel better in myself when shaven.

Haven't worn deodorant in about 12 years or so. I'm always clean, never have BO, partners and friends have never complained and have always said I smell nice if it ever came up in discussion.

Do the research guys, spraying chemicals on yourself isn't healthy for you, blocks your pores, it's just another marketing con that people have bought into, like shower gel and engagement rings.

Cologne is a bit different, a quick spray on your clothing around the neck or wrist won't do any harm.

In a town full of colours

I know a professional athlete who shaves his armpits and legs, he also doesn't wear deodorant at all, but he is not a sweaty man with funky odours, he has a good diet and is very clean living

I always have a shower every morning without fail, I shave my arm pits whilst in the shower if they need doing, personally I prefer it but I always make sure I'm as fresh as I can be

I don't know about essential, but I keep my armpits closely trimmed and that certainly helps the deodorant work.

Not far

I use a natural salt stick instead of a cocktail of chemicals from who knows where that are designed to clog the pores. The salt stick permits you to sweat naturally but it kills the bacterial that feed off the sweat and are responsible for the odour.

I need proper anti-perspirant not deodorant but I don't use it every day (if I'm staying in) and have never shaved my armpits.

Please use deodorant people, even if you think you don’t smell, after a while on a hot day you invariably do! You’re probably just noseblind to it yourself, but some people really do let off a right reek yet we’re all too polite to tell you

My pits remain resolutely unshaven but always deodorised!

Having had the *pleasure* of a few men who did not wear deodorant I'm saying one hundred percent yes to deodorant.

They can shave their pits if they want.

At the risk of sounding really grim, I don't use anything. I would've thought if you bathe properly, it wouldn't be an issue

You sweat after you bathe, if you're moving around.

I don't have to use deodorant if I'm indoors or not working up much of a sweat, but if I'm walking a lot or vacuuming I put some on.

Definitely deodorant and good quality cologne. I shave my armpits to match my bits. Just seems cleaner and more hygienic.

That's fair enough. I work a desk job so I never really saw the use for it and I don't think I offend anyone as I would like to think my workmates who I'm close with would tell me lol

Shave as this helps my armpit to breathe as I train and I always like to smell nice so I can smell my odour even though it's a blocker and stops your body breathing naturally
