She's supposed to show up regularly, but she's dam useless. She's either two weeks late or two weeks early.

She's late again.... Can someone have a word please because she's doing my head in! I don't like waiting on her it's a tad irritating.

I mean I've been wearing my granny pants especially for her and it's all been a complete waste.

Dare me to wear white pretty ones?

What can I do to get her to come? Ideas please? Or can someone go have a word?

"I'm not much better and am only in my mid 30s "

I was one week to nine months in my teens (No relationship to stuff we can't talk about - my body sucks)

I'm now 3-5 weeks now, which feels extremely regular

I find having a wank can help bring it on, but only if I know I'm due on.

I track mine on Clue.

You could ask the docs for some blood tests to see if it's anything hormonal?

Periods are a part of life, there’s nothing wrong with talking about them, particularly as the op is asking advice.

We need to be more open about them, after all, without them, life literally would cease to exist

Sorry OP, but I reckon you're heading towards menopause.

I started peri-menopause (I think thats the right term) in my early 30s

Next is the mind fog, increase in weight and hot flushes.

I was put on the pill to regulate mine. Every 28 days like clockwork on a Saturday morning (gave me 2 days to get the sickness & fainting out the way before work on Monday) Having everything whipped out 2 years ago (12 years later than promised) was the best thing ever!!!

I always had a bad relationship with mother nature. My cycles were 6 weeks onwards and the worst experiences ever.

For many years I lived my life thinking constantly of my cycle. I have had the joy and heartache of experiencing 8 years of fertility treatment. By creating a cycle to kick start treatment, being scanned on various days of my cycle, injecting myself on various days of my cycle, and having procedures on specific days of my cycle.

At 41 I had a hysterectomy and retained my ovaries, so I am now going through the menopause and on HRT which I have adjusted rather well to.

I am also pleased to see such a thread, menstruation affects all women and for differing reasons....

I am however delighted that me and mother nature made friends and worked together to give me 2 beautiful children and 3 pregnancies but we have agreed that we needed to go our separate ways.

Whatever stages you're in your relationship with mother nature I wish for it to be a healthy one for you.

Her x

I'm not sure where I am at the moment. I had a coil removed a few months ago so I'm waiting for my cycle to settle. I narrowly missed having it surgically removed as they couldn't find the threads.

Prior to that I was on HRT in 2019 but in the pandemic came off. I was sheilding and they wouldn't deliver my hormone gel despite delivering my sheilding persons medications.

Since I went on HRT they have been all the place.

It's lovely to read your treatment worked and you got two children.

I had a bit of a fight to get mine too but not like you have.

So I'm trying to work out if mines the coil removal settling down or the perimenopause and if I should have another coil or go back on HRT.

All good fun!
