Not me, I think gambling is a mugs game, but for those casual or once a year punters just doing it for a bit of innocent (and not life destroying) fun, good luck and fingers crossed for a decent result!

I don’t gamble anymore apart from the stock market but I see those as primarily as an investment over a gamble.

Put £20 on three horse, two that my children chose (they’ll get the winnings) and one for me, all E/W. My Dad did it for us as kids so I see it as a family tradition.

This is our once a year little tradition me and my husband have always had we’ve gone for potters corner as it’s the only welsh horse in the race and is owned by 2 welsh rugby stars .Maybe it’s fate ..

I wonder how many horses will be crippled and lose their lives this year, shot by the side of the track amongst a juxtaposition of celebratory atmosphere, like their lives didn't matter

Enjoy the race people.

Hopefully none, horse deaths in competive sport has lowered due to lockdown but will unfortunatly rise when the other speed course competitions start up again. All it takes is one to land with complications and that can mean death to the horse and rider and that is in any type of competition where these animals are ridden at speed

One of the great trainers I don't recall which said the one thing thorough bred race horses are really good at is injuring themselves, they do it in the stables, in the paddock and on the racecourse if they didn't race I don't know what their fate would be
