Well a poster is an attention grabbing piece of advertising so yeah.

On threads tho, I think of them more as contributors, for a plethora of reasons. Attention maybe, but I do think for the most part that's bottom of the list. I think distraction and just plain enjoyment or feeling they have something worthwhile to say. Whether that's worthwhile as in informative or worthwhile as in it may bring a smile to another.
