Life has been a bit crappy lately for one thing and another, I had a job interview lined up today that I nearly cancelled on because it meant rushing and seriously who needs rushing on 4:55 on a humpday!!

Anyhoo. I decided to go because I thought it would be hellish rude to cancel! Well so glad I did because straight after they offered me the job!!

Deputy Manager in a day Nursery. Same hours, but less stress for higher salary.

Dreading handing my notice in tomorrow though, we have Head Office in all day lol so great timing

Congratulations on new job, I'm on the hunt myself. Just remember paths can cross in the future so be nice when handling notice in ect.

Not sure I will take my own advice though when I do find something haha

Can I suggest (unless you have already had the contract) don’t hand your notice in until you have it in hand. I’ve been burnt before and had to beg for my old job back because the contract wasn’t what they had discussed at interview

Handed my notice in today, got in super early so I could chat to my boss, she said she wasn't surprised and couldn't compete with the role or salary unless I wanted to wait.

There were a few tears from my girls and I'll no doubt be the topic of hot gossip but meh. It is what it is, onwards and upwards
