I clicked on this forum thread because I haven't heard that expression used since I was a teenager. It was something my Nan would say! Very retro.

In response to your question OP.

I am not a dilly dallier!

If something needs to be done & I have the time, skills & money to do it, I try and get on with it a.s.a.p. or it will annoy me.

If things get left on the "to do list" without getting crossed off, more things always get added, and you find yourself forever chasing your tail.

I get a lot of satisfaction in being productive with my time.

shits creek

Depends on my mental state.

Right now I'm surrounded by 4 days worth of washing up, rubbish needs taking out, bed needs changing, windows could do with opening. They seem like mammoth tasks.

Another day I'll have that lot done within minutes.

Someone sent me the speech an American marine made called " if you wanna change the world start by making your bed" it's on tube of you if you not seen it.

Mostly a dilly dallier, then whack it up to warp speed when I've precious little choice.

..

I can procrastinate with the best of them if I really don’t want to do something but once my mind is set I’m doing it! No messing

If something needs doing I'd generally get in about it like a dog eating beetroot.
