That’s a discussion I’ve had many a time with friends, usually whilst drinking. What are the right reasons to support a team?

- your local club

- family connection

- idol player

Unfortunately far too many ‘supporters’ are glory supporters who cherry picked their team.

Got a work colleague who sits in the Kop, he doesn’t consider all the tourists / ones who travel 100+ miles and have only been like 1, 2 games genuine fans.

But this discussion can open up a big can of worms and different views

Sadly I am always have been and always will be a Bury fan! Don't know if I'll ever get to watch my team again due to what's happened with us, I do have a huge soft spot for Rangers though.
