Interesting legal situation, apparently this is all covered by the computer misuse act 1990.

I don't entirely understand the wording but it says if you haven't been given the password to someone's account it's an offence to access it, it might be the case that if permission wasn't explicitly withdraw OP could argue there was no offence as the password was originally presumably shared. However it is also an offence to deny legitimate access by for example changing someone's password.

Yes you can go to prison for it.

It's technically breaking the law. More generally, I'd say move on. You'll have a happier life. Those are minutes and hours of your life you won't get back when you could be doing something more fun. I know someone who still obsesses about what her ex is up to 5 years after their divorce. I periodically get calls where she goes on about how much better he is doing than her. No good ever comes from it. Just feeds her misery.

Why do you not use fingerprint or face recognition on your phone? Silly to keep a record of anything on your phone history or stay signed in if you don’t.

Just to be clear, because I'm a stickler for legal things like this, it's not the breach of privacy that's illegal, there's no such law in the UK. I explained the position above where this case is covered by the computer misuse act 1990, that concerns password access to accounts, and denying legitimate access to accounts.

For your information I logged out as decided I didn't want to be the person she was as she sent links to another site I was on and my user name to all my family and my investors hoping that I would lose everything .As it happened my bothers know about what i do and my bussiness partner is also a swinger that's how we met I have moved was just going to forward some of the sly remarked she had made to the "friends" she had made them about hope this clears up any discussion on on how despicable I am
