They all have distinguishing features that separate them from another, iv not seen enough of the world to be able to make that judgment yet, I may be biased but I think some of the UK is breathtaking, especially parts of Scotland and Wales. The culture and people make a place too. I think the Nordic fjords have to be up there in the top ten.

I went to Australia and stopped off in Bali, and our complex was amazing on the beach, the sea and scenery was idyllic but once we ventured outside the area, it was a very different story.

Ha ha yup the hustle and bustle of some of the busier places take some getting used to. A simple no thanks in Arabic usually gets you peace.

I start in Essaouira and then make my way into the Atlas Mountains for some chill time. It’s a lot different from the main cities.

From your description, I presume you stayed in the Seminyak area. Very different once you leave the tranquility of the resort.

Bexley

Add me to the New Zealand appreciation society. Been there twice and would have gone to live there if I had known about it in time.

best thing about NZ in my opinion is low population. I'm not of the 'more the merrier' persuasion.

Worst thing was them calling themselves Kiwis and the tendency to use Australasian diminutives like 'veggies' and 'tinnies' Their choice, however, not mine and definitely not the fault of the unique landscape!

I quite agree about the beauty of this Sceptred Isle. It’s always the way, that the grass is perceived to be greener on the other side and we don’t see what’s in front of us.

Full of intrigue now and would love to know more, as wondering if any of the 'many', took any pleasure trips, and became a regular on the journey of the wonderful African Queen?....Wasn't the African Queen a paddle steamer and maybe your into a little light spanking?

If you were dressed as per your 10th. Jan pic. I can defo see why they thought you'd be the "African Queen." A few would certainly have paid homage to your killer pair of pins, while out shopping.
